After reading the incident with Mr. Sachin, I really got an urge to share my own incident that happened with me a few days ago. I was working in a private college as a Lecturer for English for Degree students. and have one year and nine months of experience. It is a private college and I got the opportunity through a mainstream website and was accepted too. I was really loved by my students for my teaching but, due to covid, there was a faculty layoff in that college and I became one of the unfortunates to be removed. I am interested in teaching and training roles and I believe that I can provide justice to my profession only when I get to do what I love. I am trying to apply with the different vacancies which comes to my notice but, they talk well and tell that the interview went well and all that but, I receive no call for the job. I do not have NET or PHD at this point of time but, when my friends get without all that, why can’t I?
