Amazon Fire stick uses the internet only. One can install apps like Sony Liv, Hot Star etc. to view live TV channels as well as previous episodes of TV shows etc. Netflix and Amazon Prime video are there too. Unfortunately most entertainment apps are not accessible. Whether you use them on Amazon fire stick or Android set top box of Airtel or Tata Sky etc.
