try to close all active programm s. focus on desktop then press alt +f4 key then shutdown and press enter. if this doesn't work for some reason then use following method. close all active programs. then press window key +l then use tab key till you hear power button. then press spacebar then use down arrow key and find shutdown option and press enter.
