Dear all,

how many more decades we are going to struggle for making information
accessibility happen. Why don't we approach the government/ministry
come up with a concrete article under the RPWD act 2016 to make at
least web and documents accessibility mandatory for now? Just like
article 508 of united states and other such sections of different
nations which makes accessibility mandatory. Instead of fighting with
individual organization and firms, let us approach the ministry of
social justice, the ministry of information technology, ministry of
broadcasting and communication to get in sink on common agenda, and
make it punishable along with monetary fine. Until this do not
materialize, we would keep on cluttering access India portal with
complaints of inaccessibility.
