Hi, I don't know much about vivo phones, I or no one around me has ever used them. However, vivo phones are more for offline markets and tend to give less value for money. As far as redmi is concerned, Redmi once was amongst the best and even today is, in terms of specks. However, Redmi phones have a reputation of lot of adds and crap preinstalled. You cannot uninstall the junk. And, as far as I am concerned, I don't trust redmi in terms of data security much. Their updates are also very terrible. I recommend looking for a Samsung or Motorola phone. Though I would love to know your budget range. Motorola phones are pure stock android, as per samsung, they too have some bloatware but that can be uninstalled. You can also configure the settings to not see adds. Samsung has also promised 4 years of android updates. I am a Samsung user from the last 10 months, my experience has been good.
