As part of the series of articles we aim at publishing to create
awareness on different types of accessibilities in order to celebrate
GAAD, this week we share an article written by Tony Kurian, executive
committee member of BGFI on making videos and images accessible.
Pictures and videos are repositories of culture in the society.
However, most pictures and videos on the internet are inaccessible for
the blind and visually impaired. This article discusses ways by which
pictures on social media and videos on OTT platforms can be made
accessible for the blind and visually impaired.
