Hello, It is definitely possible to work as a software engineer being a blind person. I know many people who are working in that field, and am going to be one myself, and chartered accountancy, as far as I know, is fully accessible as well(although I'd prefer if someone more qualified can answer in regards to it, as I am not from a commerce background) I would suggest they join this list: https://www.freelists.org/list/program-l it is a mailing list for visually impaired programmers.
