Hi all, We are happy to share that in our case against Practo (whose break through order we had earlier shared), the Court of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disability shall take up suo moto cognisance of all inaccessible applications and websites in the next date of hearing on 20th September 2022. We believe that this could be an excellent opportunity to resolve accessibility barriers with the multiple applications/ websites, to whose service providers we all have written in the past, but to no avail. In this end, we request details of all applications with whom you face accessibility barriers. Please share the following details to [email protected], latest by Wednesday 14th September 2022, 9pm. 1. Name of application 2. Operating system (Android/ IOS) 3. Accessibility barriers faced 4. Any prior efforts made to reach out to the concerned service provider.
