Hello sir. So I will try to answer you one by one. Air india does not give any consession to the escort. At the time of booking you get an option for taking an escort, but that guy escorts you from the airport and helps you to board your flight. At the time of arival at your destination, you will meet another person who will only help you to come out of the airport with your luggage.
