ScribeFire is an extension for the Mozilla Firefox Web browser that integrates with your browser to let you easily post to your blog: you can drag and drop formatted text from pages you are browsing, take notes, and post to your blog. Further Info: If you use Firefox and blog, ScribeFire is an add-in you should take a serious look at. An number of blog engines including WordPress, TypePad, LiveJournal, and MSN Live Spaces are supported. Even if you choose not to connect it directly to one of these blog engines, it's a dandy composition tool from which you can copy and paste nicely formatted HTML. ScribeFire also has hooks to del.icio.us and Technorati . The ScribeFire extension, formerly known as Performancing for Firefox, allows you to compose and publish entries for your blog directly from Firefox without using the blogging platform's publishing tools. This can be really convenient when you're browsing your favorite sites and want to create a quick post without having to browse to your blog's management back end and juggle two or more Firefox windows. ScribeFire supports Firefox 1.5 through 2.0, and it's multiplatform, so one should be able to run it on Firefox in Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, or any other platform that supports Firefox.
