Google has released a new app called "Reading Mode". It helps people with visual impairments and dyslexia read the content on the screen. This is especially helpful for articles, as they can now access the information with ease.
Reading Mode simplifies the content on the screen, making it easier to read. It has controls for adjusting contrast, font type, line space and size, as well as the ability to have the app read out the content and control the playback speed. Finally, Reading Mode includes a toggle to make the app highlight the current text being read by the voiceover feature. The newly released app works on any device running Android 9.0 or above. Once you install it on your phone, you will have to turn on the toggle for the app under the Accessibility settings. This allows the app to have a floating button on the screen all the time, so you can turn any app or webpage into a more accessible version.
