Qualification: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a
concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR(
exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clause (ii) &

our annual event, The Readers and Writers Day. This event is an
opportunity for us to acknowledge and express our gratitude to our
readers and writers, who selflessly open up the printed world to us. We
also take this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our young
blind graduates.
After a two-year gap due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce
that The Readers and Writers Day is back, and it will take place on

This year, we have two incredible speakers who are sure to peak your
interest. First, we are pleased to introduce Raghavendra Satish Peri.
He’s a digital Transformation specialist, working with small & large
enterprises in the areas of digital accessibility & digital marketing.
He authors an Accessibility Blog at DigitalA11Y.com & is galvanizing the
adoption of accessibility by inspiring the local tech community with
meetups and mentorship. When away from his computer, Raghava can be
found at local cafés & restaurants, listening to audiobooks, or writing
on his Personal Blog.
Next, we have Muskan Gupta, a graduate in electrical engineering from
National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. She currently works with Citi
India as a technology analyst. She has also recently got enrolled in the
MBA program of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad with 99.5
percentile. She developed visual impairment during her 12th standard and
will be sharing her experiences of actively learning and unlearning
things on the go.
Registration Eligibility: Students graduated in 2022 from any bachelors’
course, only 1 reader and writer per student and the student should have
cleared all the examinations of the course.
