Hi all, In my role as a consultant on disability rights for the Vidhi Centre for legal policy, I have been invited by the Department of empowerment for persons with disabilities for a meeting on 15th March. I would like your inputs for that meeting. Two sets of broad issues will be discussed.
First, strengthening the CGhs, adip and aLimco schemes and removing any discrepancies amongst them so as to ensure harmonisation and uniformity. Second, addressing the challenges faced by the disabled in accessing insurance policies. Please share your inputs on these above two aspects, ideally in the form of problems followed by solutions.
