Yeah, it happens specially when if machine is able to copy the card details, or someone manually record the card information. However one can not do the transaction using the just card information as it further require an OTP unless the transaction is of international spent category. One has to be vigilant enough to keep himself aware of such type of frauds. I have almost 15 credit cards and over 10 debit cards, luckily i never faced such type of concern as i always keep international transactions disabled and also i keep wifi payment disabled on my cards unless required. Its always advised the card holder not to share an OTP to anyone including bank officials, if you suspect any of such activities, immideatly flag the issue to the issuer bank to avoid any financial loss. Moreover, if possible have an RFID blocker wallet if you are traveling alot.
