Seems like a joke. na? It's not! Own a wear OS watch and earlier bought the Eloquence from the play store? looking for ways to get your beloved eloquence work on that watch?

Your wait is over! I've found a way and have successfully installed the Eloquence  on my Mobvoi Tic Watch E3 running Wear OS 2.3. Lets jump on the method. shall we?

1. Before doing this, make sure that your phone and watch are connected to the same WiFi. Now, open the play store on your phone and search for an app called Wear installer2 and install it on your phone. Wait! don't yet open it.

2. Need to do some modifications on your watch! Head over to settings>System>About and find the option "Build number". Keep tapping it until you hear "You are now a developer"!

3. Restart your watch and again go to settings and head to the bottom. You will now see another item, "Developer options".

4. In the developer options, turn on "ADB Debugging". Now make sure that the "Debug over WiFi is turned on.

5. Note down the IP address of your watch which should be like "192.168.1.177".

Open the Wear Installer2 on your phone and when asked for the IP address to setup, enter the address you earlier noted. Once connected with your watch, it will load all the installed apps on your phone. Select the second option "App Install APKS" if you have eloquence APK file saved on your phone's internal storage. If you so desire, you can install the eloquence from your phone itself. Once you tapped on the installer or APK file, it will send the file to your watch using the WiFi and you may get some prompt on your watch to allow debugging. Press OK or Always allow if prompted and eloquence or any other APK for that matter will be installed on your watch. Once installation is completed, you may turn off the ADB Debugging for security. Now restart the watch and you will find the Eloquence listed in your apps. Open it and it will ask you to make the Eloquence as your default TTS engine. set it up as you wish such as speech rate etc.

Hope some may find this interesting and may bee, cool.

Best,

Satguru.
