In my personal experience most Health Insurance companies refuse to insure
persons who are blind. I believe that Star Insurance Co. is perhaps the only
company who is prepared to provide the policy.

Likewise when it comes to Life Insurance, again most companies hesitate. I
have been told that as a blind person I am required to pay a higher premium.

What is the experience generally with insurance that people on this group
have had? Would you like to share? I am seriously thinking of filing a case
in the Delhi High Court.

Best,

George
