Hi All,

I have studied the thread on the dog menace issue carefully and reflected
on the issue. Mission Accessibility will file a writ petition on this issue
in the Supreme Court. We are currently looking at the legal arguments and
pending petitions. On Sunday, I will be meeting Dr. S Muralidhar, Retired
Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court and a recently designated senior
advocate in the Supreme Court. I will request him to represent us in this
matter, and I will support him.

Before meeting him, I need to do my homework. My suggestion is that we make
a list of universities/other institutions where this is particularly a big
problem. we'll make each of them a respondent. we'll request the court to
direct them to ensure that the stray dogs in their campuses are relocated
to a suitable animal shelter, in a dignified manner. Does this make sense?

If so, can you share the names of institutions where you know this problem
exists, and share any particular incident if possible. I will brief him
accordingly. Thank you.

Warmly,

Rahul
