inform you that your candidature for the Online Main examination has
been withheld because it has been reported / detected that the scribe
independently answered/ solved the questions or prompted answers to
you.
In this context, you may refer to Clause ‘B [III(i)]’ of the detailed
notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of
Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees in Participating Banks (CRP
PO/MT –XIII), Clause 23 of Instructions to Call Letter, Para 6 of the
Email Intimation for Online Main Examination, Clause 20 (General
Instructions) of the Information Handout, Clause 12 of the Guidelines
regarding PWD candidates using services of scribe, which has been

‘During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions, the exam session will be
terminated and candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The
candidature of such candidates using the services of a scribe will
also be cancelled if it is reported after the examination by the test
administrator personnel that the scribe independently answered the
questions. In such cases, the candidate and the scribe may also be
debarred either permanently or for a specified period from all CRP
examinations. IBPS reserves the right to share the list of debarred
candidates / scribes to other Recruiting agencies for their
information’.
Clause 23 of Instructions to Call Letter
‘During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions, the exam session will be
terminated and candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The
candidature of such candidates using the services of a scribe will
also be cancelled if it is reported after the examination by the test
administrator personnel that the scribe independently answered the
questions. In such cases, the candidate and the scribe may also be
debarred either permanently or for a specified period from all CRP
examinations. IBPS reserves the right to share the list of debarred
candidates / scribes to other Recruiting agencies for their
information’.
Para 6 of Email Intimation for Online Main Examination
“During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions or prompting answers in any
direct/indirect manner, the exam session will be terminated and
candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The candidature of such
candidates using the services of a scribe will also be cancelled if it
is reported after the examination by the test administrator personnel
that the scribe independently answered the questions. In such cases,
the candidate and the scribe may also be debarred either permanently
or for a specified period from all CRP examinations. IBPS reserves the
right to share the list of debarred candidates/scribes to other
Recruiting agencies for their information.”
Clause 20 of Information Handout - General Instructions
‘During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions, the exam session will be
terminated and candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The
candidature of such candidates using the services of a scribe will
also be cancelled if it is reported after the examination by the test
administrator personnel that the scribe independently answered the
questions. In such cases, the candidate and the scribe may also be

examinations/ processes. IBPS reserves the right to share the list of
debarred candidates / scribes to other Recruiting agencies for their
information’.
Clause 12 & 13 of Guidelines regarding PWD candidates using services of scribe
‘During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions, the exam session will be
terminated and candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The
candidature of such candidates using the services of a scribe will
also be cancelled if it is reported/ detected after the examination by
the test administrator personnel that the scribe independently
answered the questions. In such cases, the candidate and the scribe
may also be debarred either permanently or for a specified period from
all CRP examinations. IBPS reserves the right to share the list of
debarred candidates / scribes to other Recruiting agencies for their
information’.
Clause 8 of the Joint Declaration by the candidate and Scribe:
‘We understand that at any stage, if it is found that scribe is
independently answering the questions, the exam session will be
terminated and candidature will be cancelled. The candidature will
also be cancelled if it is reported after the examination by the test
administrator personnel that the scribe independently answered the
questions. In such an event, we are liable to be debarred from future
IBPS CRP examination either for a specified period or permanently’.
In view of above, you are hereby called upon to offer your
explanation/ remarks, and provide valid cause/ reason as to why action
against you should not be taken in accordance with the above mentioned
pre notified clauses. The explanation/ remarks, if any, shall reach us
