Dear all, IN the Cooking Without Looking section at NAB Delhi, an accessible Air Fryer is displayed. Air Fryer is an extremely useful cooking tool for the visually impaired as you can do the trying safely and also in a healthy manner.
Many models are available in the market. Many basic models are having tactile buttons and knobs and are accessible out of the box. Some have touch panels, try to avoid them. We have also found a workaround for it, we created a mask with plastic/card board with holes at the place of touch buttons. The model Pranav mentioned can be a good choice. Note that more and more companies are coming out with wi-fi connected appliances. You may find more models which can be controlled through mobile app and hence also with Alexa by voice.
