We will be co-hosting a two-day workshop along with the Goa Government for all State Commissioners of Persons with Disabilities. The aim is to sensitise the State Commissioners about the lived realities of persons with disabilities to better equip them to ensure the effective realisation of the rights of the disabled. This will also give us the chance to discuss the nuances of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and the associated rules to secure greater compliance. *We’re also delighted to share that Former Chief Justice of India UU Lalit will be the keynote speaker at this event. * Mission Accessibility will also be hosting a series of experiential activities, reflections from renowned persons with disabilities and discussions around complex problems and corresponding legal solutions.
