Hi friends, Anyone knows of software that can listen to speech in one language and translate in realtime to another language even while the speech is continuing to be spoken, all in realtime?
Ideally, we can then use earphones to listen to the translated audio without disturbing the microphone listening to the original text, because the TTS translated audio will come back on earphones so it won't return back to the microphone listening to the source language original spoken audio. I would like to listen in this way to spoken Hindi which gets translated into English. As blind people this will be the equivalent to subtitles that sighted people use, so that while being entertained by what they watch, they can also learn the language more easily over time. For now I would like to listen to, and understand today's historic speech of our Prime Minister at the Sri Rama temple. My disability today is not being blind, it is being ignorant of the Hindi language. Quite a disability this is! Kind regards, Yamuna Jivana dasa -- Disclaimer: 1.
