Consider purchasing electric kettle. You can purchase the Bajaj. It costs 8-900 rupees, if I'm not mistaken. That's what I use to make my black coffee and tea. Specifically, I usually have green tea. And black coffee, morning post-workout. It's fairly usable. In fact, the kettle helps me perform other tasks. Though I know how to use the stove as well.
