very viable concerns.
i would have these concerns too. only that i overcame them mostly because i
am good with mapping an indoor surrounding than an outdoor environment. the
register is not even a hurdle. just shrug it off by not signing it at all.
how does it matter if the people at the gym know u went to gym or not. you
would be paying a lump sum for a fixed period anyway.

most gyms have trainers on the floor and that should be good assistance to
get you to know your equipment. most machines at gyms are bulky and
therefore seldom moved once installed in a particular spot. they wont keep
shifting these and so these machines actually become a reference point to
which you can relate in order to plan your movements. then there are other
smaller objects on the floor which wont harm you much. just treat them as
little objects lying around at home or any place you have to get accustomed
to being around for lengths of time. wouldnt we get used to knifes and forks
and pointed and hot items in our kitchen? in the same way, more or less, the
knowledge of what is expected to crop up in spaces within the gym floor will
keep you expecting what you must tackle as you go through your routine

try it! its an exciting activity to conduct.
