Dear Friends Of the about 100 teaching and non-teaching staff from four TISS campuses whose contracts were terminated at the end of June, most have been asked to join back after assurance of funds from the Tata Education Trust. However, no clarification has been given about the status of the faculty and staff in Advanced Center of Women’s Studies (ACWS) employed under the University Grants Commission (UGC) schemes. Below is a statement from concerned organisations and individuals in support of the staff of the Women's Studies Centre.
