Violence or any action that infringes upon the legitimate rights of someone has no place in the society. Importantly, violence isn’t created in a vacuum; it’s the effect of an underlying cause.
It therefore stands to reason that while efforts must be taken to mitigate violence, it’s more important to uproot its cause. History bears testimony to the fact that suppressing the effect without addressing the cause has always triggered catastrophe.
