Hi all, Here's sharing a Social media post, I wrote a while back.
THE WORLD AS I SEE IT. Father’s day over the past 20 odd years chiefly led to 2 emotions: At times it felt irrelevant or insignificant. Or at times, a feeling of self pity, sorrow and deprivation. But this time, I attempted to think differently! As a recognition of my mother’s unsurmountable courage, determination and stoicism: single handedly bringing up a partially blind child, spiralling his completion of 3 degree courses and sound work experience, exploring plausible treatment and rehabilitation at the best eye institutes, inculcating good value systems and even facilitating his independent living in unfamiliar settings for the past 2 years! Being undeterred and unaffected by the multiple obstacles, challenges, pain, suffering and discouragement. Often forgoing her own dreams and aspirations. Miraculous!! Happy Father’s Day Ammi… PS.
