NOTICE OF THE DRF (DISABILITY RIGHTS FRONT) FOR A CONSULTATIVE MEETING IN ONLINE MODE ON 27TH AUGUST 2024 AT 6 PM ON THE ISSUES OF DISABLED STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND NON-TEACHING EMPLOYEES IN DELHI UNIVERSITY Dear Friends: The DRF cordially invites all Disabled Students, Teachers and Non-Teaching Employees in Delhi University to participate in a Consultative Meeting in Online Mode on 27th August 2024 at 6 pm on the issues of disability. The joining link is given at the bottom of this invite. We are happy to inform you that following various representations of the DRF on the issues and challenges faced by disabled teachers, students and non-teaching employees in Delhi University, the DUTA (Delhi University Teachers’ Association) has kindly agreed to constitute a subcommittee to prepare a comprehensive report and action programme on disability matters. The DUTA has also decided to convene a meeting on this subject on 28th August 2024 in the DUTA Office. Hence, all concerned are advised to participate in the meeting of the DUTA. Further, the DRF is preparing a proper report to be submitted to the DUTA. However, we need to ensure that no important issues are left out of these historic deliberations. Therefore, at the eave of the DUTA meeting, the DRF is arranging consultations amongst the state holders. We will present our draft report in this consultative meeting and also solicit your further suggestions before its final submission to the DUTA.
