Hi, The most serious of music producers and sound engineers these days, including among blind producers and engineers are using Reaper.
The developers are working closely with blind software developers to build perhaps the most accessible digital audio workstation ever built thus far, even better than Sonar which I’ve been using successfully to release three albums. Here are demos to listen to, where these guys show practically how to install Reaper and all the necessary tools for accessibility to work properly. Then they make music projects in realtime to demonstrate how they use the screen-reader to navigate. It’s actually very impressive. https://www.theglobalvoice.info/reaper/ Hope this helps. Actually I’m sure it will help! My name is Subhajit Bhunia, and I am currently a second-year, third-semester student in the Department of Bengali at Jadavpur University. I am reaching out to express my interest in learning audio editing and sound designing. As someone who uses accessible screen reading software, I am particularly interested in finding accessible audio editing software and resources. If you could kindly share any tutorials, guides, or offer any assistance on this subject, I would be deeply grateful. Thank you very much for your time and support.
