Hi Shruti About ten years back, I was watching a famous comedy show, don't remember the exact name. There was a pair of comedians who got so much adulation from all quarters. This particular episode was just not palatable, although I think they had always been quite vulgar, however, this time they just crossed all limits. Both acted as a blind couple on their first night. I just cannot write what they were doing and saying. That was the day I stopped watching television. Some 2 years back, a friend took me to some stand up show by a female artist. I spent a terrible hour there with all kind of vulgarity and rubbish being performed and audience howling and cackling like mad people. There were bits about disability as well which I hated the most. Our society and artists need to be more sensitive. Barring a very few exceptions, even our movies have always mocked PWD.
