Dear All, St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC-Viviana Extension is happy to announce an online workshop on the theme *“G-Mail with External Keyboard Using TalkBack”* under its Tech Roshni series – A step at bridging the digital divide for blind and low vision persons.
Gmail is a popular email service that offers seamless communication and organization tools. For visually impaired individuals, Gmail can be accessed via an external keyboard on a phone using the Talkback app, which provides feedback and navigation. This method significantly enhances accessibility, allowing users to efficiently manage their emails and tasks without visual assistance. Utilizing Gmail with Talkback and an external keyboard ensures a more inclusive and productive digital experience. In upcoming workshop, we will study this feature with actual abilities. *Eligibility*: Participants should have a good understanding of Android phone basics gestures with TalkBack, and touch typing, Limited seats are available for the session.
