HiAll, Pleased to share that all Assistive Technology stalls at Empower 2024 will be made accessible for persons with visual impairment through Spacefelt! We are providing audio descriptions for every exhibitor and their products/services.
Here’s how to get started: 1. Install the Spacefelt Purple app using the links below. AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/in/app/spacefelt-purple/id1661481450 PlayStore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grailmaker.spacefelt 2. Open the app and select the "Guest Access" option. 3. Navigate to the Accessible Places menu. 4. From the dropdown, select the Empower 2024 package. You’ll have these options on that page: • Download: The app works online, but for offline access, you can download the package. • Address and Contact: View the address and contact details for the National Institute of Speech and Hearing. • Place description: Get a basic orientation ofthe the venue and directions for initial registration. • Find the Spacefelt Tags: Find out where the QR labels at the Assistive Technology stalls, are affixed. At this venue, they are positioned at the right corner of each stall table. Once at the venue, open the Spacefelt app and scan the QR labels to receive audio descriptions.
