Dear Shruti I have always found the portrayal of the disabled people in movies very pathetic, very offensive. Disabled characters are only added to create so-called funny scenes, that actually make fun of their disabilities. I have never understood why couldn't the script writers create intelligent humour using these characters. Just a handful of movies have depicted the disabled persons with sensitivity and dignity. I can remember names like Koshish (1970s), Sparsh (80s), Dosti (50s) and Black (2000s). Thanks again for highlighting this sensitive issue, Shruti. Best Sandeep
