To commemorate International Volunteers’ Day which is on 5th December,
Snehankit Helpline is organising an essay competition for all visually
impaired friends. The topic is “my ideal way of celebrating volunteers’
day”. You can write your essay in any one of three languages Hindi,
English or Marathi. You can write the essay on a computer or in braille.
Essays written in braille or hard copy should be sent to the following
address -

Essays written on computer can be sent on our email -

The last date for submitting your essays is 15^th December 2024.
The first and second prize for the essay contest are Rs. 5,000/- and Rs.
4,000/- respectively. The decision on awarding of additional prizes will
be made later and will be based on number of entries received. The
prizes will be distributed during a Volunteers’ Day function to be held
on 28^th December 2024.
The following documents should be submitted along with your essay.
1. Copy of ADHAAR card
2. Copy of disability certificate/ UDID card
We Acknowledge the selfless contribution of our volunteers. It is our
duty to express gratitude for the tireless efforts of the volunteers.
Let us take this opportunity to appreciate and recognise the dedication
