Key Highlights: - Fixed Bug with Math in Chromium Browsers: NVDA now reads math content correctly in popular Chromium browsers, including Chrome and Microsoft Edge. - Improved Braille Device Compatibility: Humanware Brailliant BI 40X devices running firmware version 2.4 now function as expected with NVDA. How to Update NVDA to Version 2024.4.2: 1. Open the NVDA Menu: Press Insert + N to open the NVDA menu. 2. Navigate to the Help Submenu: Press the Down Arrow or Up Arrow key to navigate to the "Help" submenu. Then, press the Right Arrow key to expand it. You can also press the H key to open the Help submenu directly. 3. Check for Updates: First, press Enter to select the "Check for Updates" option, or you can also press the C key to open it directly. 4. Download the Update: NVDA will detect the new version and begin downloading it automatically. 5. Start the Installation: Once the download is complete, NVDA will prompt you to begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation. 6. Restart Your Computer: After the installation is finished, restart your computer to ensure that all changes are properly applied and to avoid any potential issues.
