About the Speaker:
Dr. Nidhi Mishra is a visually impaired international para-athlete and a
dedicated academician. A graduate of Indraprastha College for Women,
University
of Delhi, she pursued her MA, MPhil, and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru
University (JNU), Delhi.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History
at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, Dr. Mishra has balanced her
academic
pursuits with an extraordinary sports career.
Achievements:
Over 150 medals in national and international tournaments.
Bronze medalist at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
Holder of a national record in shot put and discus throw.
Dr. Mishra will share her awe-inspiring journey of overcoming challenges
and achieving excellence in both academics and sports.
