Hi to the group, I have a suggestion for organizations in this group, particularly Mission Accessibility, as they often deal with legal matters. I am aware of the weekly Pro-bono Justice Connect initiative they have started, which is an excellent step. However, I believe this initiative can be further expanded by creating content that addresses basic but often misunderstood processes, which many people are unaware of. For example, I am currently pursuing a case against Swiggy. Initially, I mistakenly launched a complaint on the PG Portal under the consumer helpline category. Later, I realized that it should have been filed under the DEPwD category. Fortunately, with Amar Sir's guidance, I finally managed to file the case directly with the CCPD through their portal. However, I ended up wasting an entire month just to understand this process. There seems to be considerable confusion regarding which body to approach for specific matters. For instance, if someone living outside Delhi or a state capital faces an accessibility issue at the district level, whom should they reach out to—CCPD or the State CCPD? I believe creating clear, accessible content explaining such processes can help many individuals avoid similar confusion and delays.
