Here's more about the event; Accessible Aesthetics: Art for All 28th February - 2nd March 2025 State Gallery of Art, Hyderabad Organized by the Department of Liberal Arts, IIT Hyderabad, and Maqaam Foundation. An inclusive art exhibition featuring 40+ artists, 100+ artworks, 6 accessibility stalls, and 4 interactive workshops. Accessibility features include ramps, sign-language interpreters, audio descriptions, quiet spaces, and volunteer support. Spacefelt, our Accessibility Partners will provide audio descriptions for the artworks. Key Highlights: 28th February (2 PM - 6 PM) - Inauguration & Special Address by Dr. Hemachandran Karah (IIT Madras) - "Beyond Sight" – Interactive session on accessibility & assistive tech with Deepa Palaniappan, T.V. Aishwarya, O. Aishwarya, and Umasankar V. 1st March (11 AM - 6 PM) - Watercolor Demonstration by Anuradha Govarthanan (10 AM - 12 PM) – Free - "Empathy in Action" Workshop by Dr. Shweta Verma (2 PM - 5 PM) – ₹500 (30 spots) 2nd March (11 AM - 6 PM) - "Touch & Treasure" – 3D Fridge Magnet Art Workshop by T.V.
