As a citizen of India, I have the fundamental right under Article 19 to move freely throughout the territory of India. However, the lack of tactile paths for Persons with Visual Impairments and the presence of stray dogs and other animals hinder my mobility. We want independence and should not have to rely on family members for every outing. According to the RPWD Act 2016, infrastructure should be accessible for everyone, including Persons with Disabilities. Accessibility is our right, not a charity. Due to stray animals, I face challenges exercising my fundamental right under Article 19 to move freely in Krishna Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi. My white cane angers the animals. @CMODelhi @LtGovDelhi @rajeshaggarwal @PMOIndia @the_hindu ( https://x.com/Sugamyata/status/1893618232671502830?t=p2uOI8KVzG5KRu68E2-BQw&s=03 )
