Dear All, St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC -Viviana extension is happy to announce an online workshop on the theme “InDrive with TalkBack” under its Tech Roshni series – A step at bridging the digital divide for blind and low vision persons. This Workshop is supported by the Dhun Pestonji Parakh Discretionary Trust.
Mobility is very important for everyone for independent travelling which includes visually impaired persons. In today’s mode of transport there is a private ride service like InDrive which is an international ride-hailing service that allows passengers to propose their own fares for their rides. InDrive can be the best alternative for other cab booking aggregators like Uber and Ola cabs. In this workshop, we will learn what is InDrive App, its accessibility, and how to use with the TalkBack screen reader. Eligibility: Participants should have a good understanding of Android phone basics gestures with TalkBack, and touch typing Limited seats are available for the session.
