Respected members. I hope that this message finds all of you well. My name is Ajay, and today I am writing this mail in order to express my concerns and also to seek valuable suggestions from experts on an issue, which has been troubling me since the past 1 year now. Me and my younger sister are both 100 percent visually impaired individuals, and we had applied for the disability pension scheme from our home state, which is haryana, district hisar. It has been close to a year now that we are not getting any response from our district collectors office, on why are they not providing us with our disability pension. According to the rules and regulations of the government of haryana, we are fully eligible to get the disability pension but after applying by following all the legal procedures as well, we are unable to avail the benefits of the pension scheme from our state government. The issue is that after regularly calling and even after visiting the DC office on multiple occasions, they do not give us a concrete response on as by when they are going to start the pension, or why are they denying it to us. My family resides in Delhi and hence it is extremely difficult for us to regularly go to Hisar and talk to the people there. I would request the members to kindly show me a way as to how can I take this issue forward, as now we are tired of not getting responses from the DC office. I would also be extremely grateful if someone who is in any capacity related or working with the pension department or the government of haryana, and are reading this mail, to please assist me to come out of this situation.
