In episode 49 we have with us Homiyar Mobedji, a consulting physiotherapist from Ahmedabad. Mobedji is also the course coordinator at Physiotherapy College for the Blind in the same city. Mobedji has been partially blind all through out his life. Art is an expression of heart and other senses. It does not depend on physical sight, as Alisa Gabrielle of the US says " most of my paintings and sculptures come from within." In the profile section of this episode, lets know more about this wonderful lady and her beautiful creations from another wonderful and beautiful lady - Kajol. As per the World Health Organisation, Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness. Anyone can develop glaucoma, from babies to senior citizens. Vision lost due to glaucoma cannot be regained but with timely treatment, further loss of vision can be stopped. So this week we have with us Dr.Suneeta Dubey to advise us on it. Dr.Suneeta Dubey is a consultant at Dr.Shroff Charity Eye Hospital in Delhi. She specialises in glaucoma. So listen and also spread a word around about our radio show.
