About Mr. Sameer Latey:
Mr. Sameer Latey is a Mumbai-based blind Chartered Accountant with over
20 years of experience in leading private-sector companies. He has
received several accolades including the "Special Recognition Award" in
the "Differently-Abled Chartered Accountants" category by the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of India in January 2020. He was also awarded a
"Certificate of Appreciation" by the Income-tax Department in August
2020 for making the return e-filing process accessible. Recently, he was
honoured with the "Samman" award for social work by the Rotary Club
Mulund South in January 2025. Mr. Sameer Latey is a member of the
Management Committee of Snehankit Helpline and a mentor under the Blind
Graduates Federation of India's mentorship program.
