For the Union Territory of Ladakh and the non-synchronous snow-bound areas of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and States of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the reference date will be 00.00 hours of the first day of October, 2026 In this regard, we should insist on inclusion of data for Disabled including Visually Impaired seeking the following details to help the Policy Makers in making policies for true empowerment of disabled. 1. Are you a disabled person? 2. Nature of disability 3. Percentage of Disability / Blindness 4. UDID Number and date 5. Issuing authority details 6. Whether belonging to multiple disabilities and if so 7. The nature of multiple disabilities and their percentage We are a group of various individuals and representatives from reputed organisations working for the empowerment of Blind Community.
