As per my knowledge Visually Impaired individuals are exempted from Income tax on Transport allowance under section 10 14 Rule 2-B even under new IT regime. however, my employer is demanding ddocumentary evidence to prove the same. I would be grateful if somebody could provide any Government resolution or any other document to this effect.
