Dear Yatin, Thank you for your efforts in documenting and reporting issues with Google applications in terms of accessibility on Android. I've also noticed significant accessibility challenges with Google applications on iOS, particularly YouTube. I appreciate your dedication to making technology more inclusive. I'd like to recommend that you consider the DHS Trusted Tester certification exam. This certification can enhance your expertise in accessibility testing and provide valuable skills. However, I've found the training and content to be extensive, and the practical exam can be challenging. It may take 3-6 months to prepare and pass the exam, but it's a worthwhile investment. Thank you again for your hard work, and I look forward to hearing about your progress. Sincerely, Mujtaba Merchant Bangalore | INDIA Sent from my iPhone ® Hello, dear community members. I am Yatin. I would like to share an update regarding my ongoing efforts to report issues with various Google products, including Android Accessibility Suite, Google Speech Recognition and Synthesis, and Gboard. I initiated these reports on May 1st, and I am pleased to inform you that Google has acknowledged the issues and agreed to provide fixes. However, they have not specified a clear timeline for implementation, as I mentioned in my previous updates. Yesterday, I initiated a new discussion with Google regarding the Accessibility Trusted Tester program. I am advocating for the program to be more inclusive and available to all, rather than being geo-restricted to specific countries. I believe this limitation can be seen as discriminatory, and I am working to raise awareness about this issue. Our discussion is ongoing, and we have exchanged around 4-5 emails so far. I shall keep you updated on any developments or conclusions. Thank you for your interest, and I hope this update is helpful. Thanks and Regards, Yatin Panchal Disclaimer: 1.
