I am Dr. Tarun Kumar Vashisht, an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya and a legally blind academic. I have completed my PhD from the Indian Institute of ManagementAhmedabad, and I work extensively in the field of disability at the workplace, inclusion, identity, and social space. I am currently undertaking a research project that seeks to explore the lived experiences of persons with disabilities who acquired their disabilities later in life—ideally during the course of career. The study aims to understand how such individuals make sense of their changing identities and ways of being and doing in the world following the onset of disability. If you identify as someone who has acquired any form of disability at a later stage of life, I warmly invite you to participate in this research. You may also refer someone who qualifies as a potential research participant. The participation will involve a *formal interview*, which will be conducted via *Zoom* at a time that is convenient for you. All interactions will remain confidential and completely voluntary, following the benchmark ethical standards. If you are interested or would like more information, please feel free to respond to this email, or send me a personal message/DM. I’d be happy to explain the research intent in detail and will share the consent form and other formalities accordingly. Even if you do not personally identify as a person with an acquired disability, you are most welcome to *refer anyone who does identify as such*.
