Hello Access Indians,

I’m currently exploring options to purchase a 20-cell refreshable braille display, and I came across the ORBIT Reader. If anyone has personal experience with it, I’d appreciate your insights on its performance, durability, and overall usability.

I’m also open to other reliable 20-cell braille displays available in the market. Recommendations on alternative models, along with details such as pricing, purchase sources, and after-sales support in India, would be highly appreciated.

Additionally, I’d like to know about:
Language support: Does the display support Indian languages like Hindi or Marathi in braille?

Connectivity: What connection options are available (USB, Bluetooth)? Are they stable across various devices?

Screen reader compatibility: How well does it work with NVDA, JAWS, or mobile platforms like Android and iOS?

Looking forward to your valuable suggestions and experiences.

Best regards,
Shubham Deshmukh.
