As Kanchan and George pointed-out, we can ask her to consider allied medicine fields like physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, audiology, etc. Developmental psychology is something that will allow her to work with young children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Clinical and neuropsychology may help her to realize her dream. Yes, get her prepared to use a screen reader and Braille. Keep up your good service! As becoming a medical doctor generally requires performing surgeries, it may not be feasible for her.
