AI is AI.

I would suggest checking any such AI-generated video with a sighted friend. I once asked chat gpt to draw an image of a mango tree on the top of a ice-clapped peak. I just wanted to surprise others because mango does not grow on ice-covered tops. I got the excellent image of a mango tree full of mangoes. But at the foot of the mango tree were scattered many fruits like guava and papaw.

Nice piece. Who has written it? It would be good if people can
sign off with their names while posting. A suggestion worth
    considering.

    Thanks,

    George

*Yes, Blind People Can Create Videos—Thanks to AI*

For most of my life, video was something I could only listen to,
    never make.

I could write scripts. I could imagine camera angles. I could hear
the rhythm of a story unfolding.
That was because I had sight until I was 18.

But when it came to /creating/ video—composing scenes, directing
movement, choosing shots—I was always on the outside looking in.
Forget about directing videos—something as simple as holding a
still camera and taking a snapshot was out of question for someone
    like me.

    That is changing fast.
Thanks to AI video generation tools, even totally blind people
like me can now create short, engaging videos with nothing more
    than a text prompt.

Let that sink in: *you write a few lines of description, and the
AI turns it into a video.*

    *Tools That Make This Possible*

There are now several powerful tools available that are opening
    doors for blind creators:

      * *Google Veo*– Think of it as the ChatGPT of video. You type a
prompt, and it turns it into a cinematic sequence with
        stunning visuals and sound.
      * *Runway*, *Pika*, and *Minimax* – These are popular video
generation platforms that let you animate a scene with just a
        description.
      * *ChatGPT*and *Claude* – If writing the perfect prompt feels
daunting, these AI assistants can help you shape your vision
into words the video tools can understand.

Most of these tools are either free or offer limited free credits.
So you can experiment and learn without spending a rupee.

    *No Vision? No Problem.*

I cannot see what the video looks like, but I can /hear/ it.
    I can imagine it.
I can sense how the pieces come together: the footsteps on grass,
the rise in music, the laughter in voices.

Recently, I created a video where two women, a jogger, and an old
man walking his dog suddenly stop in a park, face the camera, and
    break into a dance.

    Their message?

*"We wish you a wonderful evening!"*

    Birdsong in the background.
    Shoes skimming the pavement.
    Laughter ringing through the park.
I may be blind, but this scene lives in my mind just as vividly as
    any director’s storyboard.

*Beyond Fun: A New Avenue for Advocacy*

While making these videos is a lot of fun, I am also seeing the
    deeper potential.
We can use these AI tools to:

      * Create *accessible content* that educates people about disability.
      * Launch *awareness campaigns* with short, shareable videos.
      * Promote *events and causes* in a way that grabs attention.
      * Tell stories that are often missing from mainstream media.

I have already started lining up a series of short videos focused
on *accessibility and disability activism*. These videos will not
just entertain—they will inform, persuade, and hopefully, shift
    perceptions.

Because when the medium becomes accessible, the message can
    finally come through.

*You Do Not Have to Do It Alone*

If you are blind or have difficulty figuring out prompts, AI
assistants like ChatGPT and Claude can be your creative partners.

    Ask them things like:

      * /"Help me write a prompt for a video where a blind student is
using a screen reader to top the exam results."/
      * /"Turn this paragraph into a visual scene with movement and
        sound."/

And you will get polished, camera-ready ideas you can feed
straight into tools like Google Veo or Pika.

    *The Takeaway*

We are at the start of something big.

For the first time, blind people do not need to depend on sighted
collaborators to /create/ video from scratch.
With text and sound as our guide, we can now direct, produce, and
    share stories of our own.

If you thought video-making was only for filmmakers and YouTubers
    with gear—think again.

All you need is a voice, a message, and a few words.

The tools will take care of the rest.
