Greetings From EnAble India! Do you want to empower people with visual impairments through computer and employability skills?: Become a Certified Trainer! Are you passionate about teaching computer and employability skills to individuals with visual impairments? Are you interested in working as a trainer with NGOs or schools? Look no further! EnAble India invites applications for its Trainer Certification Course 2025. Course Details: Duration: September 15, 2025, to March 31, 2026 (6 months) • Phase 1: September 15, 2025, to December 20, 2025, at EnAble India’s premises in Bangalore. • Subjects Covered: Computers, English, Life skill, Employability and Mobility • Phase 2: Internship: 3-month internship from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026. Seats Available: 15 Training Mode: Onsite Eligibility Criteria: • Open to individuals with vision impairments, persons whose age should not exceed above 35 • Must pass the computer and English assessments. • Able to understand and communicate basic English • Completed graduation, Under the exception, 12th standard candidates knowing computers and English communication are eligible. • Only Indians are eligible for this course Assessment: Candidates will undergo a telephonic and written assessment in Computers and English. A minimum score of 60% in both assessments is required to join the course. About the Trainer Certification Course: The course aims to enhance the skills of individuals aspiring to work as trainers at various institutions, NGOs, and schools. Upon completion, trainers will be equipped to: • Understand and implement effective training processes. • Teach digital devices using appropriate methodologies. • Utilize efficient evaluation techniques. • Access and teach self-learning tools. • Create a positive learning environment. • Implement best practices for candidate responsibility. • Demonstrate and teach various assistive technologies. • Conduct awareness workshops and teach candidates of all educational levels, regardless of age or career stage. • Guide participants towards earning mainstream certifications. Training Completion Criteria: • Certification will be awarded to participants with 95% attendance and 100% completion of assessments, projects, and internships. • Participants should be certified with any screen reader (JAWS/NVDA) • Trainers should become proficient in demonstrating assistive aids to various stakeholders including employers, parents, NGO leaders, college students, and schoolchildren. Outcomes of the Training: 1. Conducting digital literacy programs, including long-term programs for the visually impaired, initially with supervision. 2. Managing the training process, including sourcing, maintaining the training project office, and 3. reporting. 4. Adhering to organizational policies (HR, Travel, Posh, etc.). 5. Conducting programs at various locations, requiring travel within the district or state. Accommodation: EnAble India will assist in finding hostel and PG accommodations.
